March of the Eagles: Napoleon strategy game, not tactical hogwash calling itself strategy)
Grim Dawn: with Titan Quest being my favorite ARPG of late how couldn't I?
That's about it for now. Actually, I'm excited in general for any tactical shooter. -
You should definitely try Path of Exile. It's $10 to get into the closed beta, but the beta will be opening up sometime in August (estimate). It's pretty well polished at this point and what D3 should have been. There's two acts and they are patching in new stuff now and then all the time. It's online only like D3, and you can play it "single player" if you want. but the performance has been great and there's very few bugs. Lots of interesting touches I love about it that expand or do things differently than previous dungeon crawlers.
- Health/Mana Potion system is pretty cool, especially that they can be magic and rare as well.
- Item socketing is done well, as well as all the crazy combinations you can make with support gems and linked sockets. Getting a 5 link socket item can create some insane possibilities.
- I like how you can show off items to trade in the chat window, which can be hidden. Sometimes i like to see it, sometimes I don't.
- The graphics are good, I like the grittier feel of it opposed to Torchlight's cartoonish feel (nothing wrong with that!). D3 sits kind of in the middle of them more towards torchlight.
- I like that there's NO GOLD. You heard me NO GOLD. It's fantastic not to have to even think about it. The currency is items you find and various orbs and the scrolls. It works without having that gold farming vibe. And the currency is actually usable in other ways aside from just being money.
- It's going to be free-to-play. Not sure how they are going to make money, supposedly all the pay stuff will be cosmetic. Mayhap they will have areas of the game or PvP will be pay? Shrug. I like the attitude they are displayed towards the F2P model, however.
- The passive skill tree is MASSIVE. Each class starts out at a different place on it and the mapping out your options is fun. There's "regret orbs" that allow you to also "change your mind" Think Final Fantasy X sphere grid.
There's many other reasons it's fresh that I probably can't remember off the top of my head. Even just playing the two available acts for the closed beta entry fee is worth the price of admission if you like Diablo clone style games. -
GTA V, COD:BO2, FIFA 13, NFS Most wanted, Halo 4..
-
Just wanna add;
Aside from Thief 4, I'm also waiting for Metro: Last Light.
And I've heard of a remake of Baldur's Gate if ever, that will be awesome. And (wishful thinking) a sequel to Planescape Torment. -
I've been in the beta of PoE since August of last year. It's fun but it lost interest for me rather quickly. I'm just doesn't float my boat like Titan Quest did... I usually try to make a new character every so often.

Is no one looking forward for the game
Last of us? -
Yeah, but trying to keep the list small. I don't want it to end up just being a cut and paste of all upcoming AAA and buzzing indie titles.
-
no one's said Dawnguard for PC?
Well, waiting for that and SC2: HotS. Maybe Blizzard will fix Terran. -
I did
And of course, CoH2. -
It's funny.. I've finished just about everything in Skyrim.. except..they saw what I did.. I know where they are... yet.. I cannot get in... I think it's high time I draw more innocent blood.. see what they think of that...
-
Resident Evil 6
But especially Metro Last Light. Might need a hardware upgrade but after seeing the screenshots on their Facebook page it'll be worth it. -

MOH: Warfighter Looks like a lot of fun -
Looked good, yes, but
A few thugs with AK-47's are able to infiltrate the temple of magic conjurers and win. I know little to nothing about FF but it just looked like, yeah right.
-
Waiting for (obvious) triple A titles like GTA V and (who is not?) Watch Dogs. Not games I'm going to play on my laptop though. For those "mainstream" games I have a Xbox 360.
I would also really, really, REALLY like a Just Cause 3! Guess I will have to do it with a JC2 Multiplayer for a while. Which is also grea! And a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game would also be great, but unfortunately, that's not going to happen. -
GTA V will be the game of the decade
-
I love GTA. I know some people didn't like GTA IV. It was too "serious". Lol. Call me crazy, but I've never finished the story. I could have hours of fun just walking on the highway, drunk, trying to not get hit by cars. You know, Just Cause 2 style fun. Even though San Andreas and Vice City are much more "wackier", I liked IV the most for ing around.
Watch Dogs looks VERY promising though, but I don't know how open-world it is. An open-world game will always win a game of the decade contest, because it has infinite replayability. -
I think some people thought GTA IV was "boring" because it was set on liberty city (new york). GTA 5 will be back at San Andreas (Cali L.A.) and even bigger which will be epic. anyone know if the release date is out yet? I heard it might come out by the end of the year.
-
Bioschock infinite
Crysis 3
Half Life 3
Edit: Oh yeah Watch dogs..
... To be played in 3D on my upcoming m17
-
I didn't know HL3 was on its way. I'm definitely waiting for Crysis 3.
-
the new version of metro
-
La Mulana was finally announced for an English PC release, yay!
-
So will Agni's Philosophy become FF15?(not the engine itself, but the characters that were demoed)

Forge
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
I've recently come to a decision to support Indie games over AAA titles whenever possible. I've become fed up with paying premiums for lackluster games for the sole reason that studios put out a good game once upon a time, and are now feeding upon that reputation to entice gamers to buy something not worth a premium. One example that is easy to hammer is D3. Sure, I got 100 hours of game-play that was enjoyable for the most part, but definitely not as satisfying and Warcraft 1 ,2 and 3, Starcraft and other titles from that company. I'm sure that part of this stems from a change in how the leading studios in the gaming industry look at the market and consumers nowadays in way which is, for me, upsetting.
I could also rant on about this for a long while, but to get to the point: Big name companies are losing/have lost my interest, through bad business practice, and I am responding by casting my capitalist vote to new candidates.
Now, don't get me wrong. I am a sucker for graphics. I love pretty shinies. For that reason, I have always been reluctant to look into the indie game scene. Though, by mere chance, I stumbled onto what was seemingly nonexistent to me. I found the light, and it looks good.
Enter: Forge and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
These two games are the beginning of the fulfillment of my hopes for what gaming needed, in my world. They bring together fresh ideas, traditional core values, current graphic engines and Indie pricing in a product that will, hopefully, be a worthwhile investment.
What games are you waiting for?
