Looking at two laptops one has the gts 360m and one has the gt 330m. My question is what games can i play on each (crysis gta 4) and on what setting. Also do you think both will play starwars tor i know system requirements isnt released just in your opinion.

Crysis and GTA4 should play at pretty high settings on the 360m. Depends on the resolution.
-
Yep, high settings at 1920 x 1080, if you don't mind 30FPS, with the GTS 360M. The 330M will probably be medium settings. Be warned though, GTA IV is a lot more CPU dependent, so you would optimally want a Core 2 Quad or a Core i7 if you are going to play GTA IV with a nice framerate. You probably wouldn't see much difference between the 330M and the 360M with GTA IV, whereas Crysis will certainly benefit from the 360M being the better GPU.

360M is high settings at moderate resolutions, 330M is medium settings at low resolutions.

Im looking at the X505-Q860 this is what it says about the resolution
18.4” diagonal widescreen TruBrite TFT LCD display at 1680 x 945 native resolution (HD+). Native support for 720p content with 16:9 aspect ratio
Weird native resolution lol. -
GTS360M should be able to play the game on Full HD res and max details... U just need to have the latest patches for Crysis and GTA IV.... and as far as the X505 goes , get the one with the full HD screen.... the HD+ screen is crap from what i read....

The GTX 260M isn't built be used at 1080p, neither is the GTS 360M or its closest analogue, the 9800M GT. You can, but don't expect to maintain 30fps with max settings in the majority of modern games.
-
Based on the fact that GTS360 seems to be pretty close to GTX260M one can expect similar performance.
GTS IV (1280x1024 high) ~40fps
Crysis (1024x768 high, GPU benchmark) on average 38fps

Thanks guys, sounds like id be a little hard pressed to find a game that it couldnt play.

Sorry but a desktop 9800 is not playing crysis at 1080p at HIGH settings at a consistent FPS of 30. Not even close...especially in later levels...
