What games for windows will work with an X3100 card?
-
StarCraft?
Don't expect miracles; bad integrated card is bad. CS:S will run at medium-low settings, albeit with some graphical glitches. WoW, UT2004, the like are fine. Don't expect to play Crysis, BioShock, or UT3 above 10 FPS, though.
Basically games that are a few years old will run just fine; modern games, however, may run but not playably. -
not crysis not bioshock. my friend has the same vostro as me but his has the x3100 instead of the 8600m gt....it will play resident evil 4

what about halo 2 vista?

even my ATI x1600 couldn't run Halo 1 smoothly. and it is about 3-4 times faster than X3100.

As a rule of thumb you will probably be able to play games that are 3+ years old but don't expect to run any newer games decently.

ok i was just wondering this isnt really a gaming laptop im just looking for some games to play casually
thanks everbody -
I don't know what kind of games you're into but it will definitely run the first Call of Duty game well at high settings which I think is a really good fps.
-
Ya i love Call of Duty might have to try it also any1 know any good sports games?

The X3100 will not run halo or halo 2! I think the only things that the X3100 would run kind of well would be Diablo or star Craft and thats about it.

Actually, some guy got Halo to run on his X3100 and an older Core Duo. All low, but he had around 25-30FPS in battle. It was in the "X3100" thread.

Yeah the X1270 at my school don't run Halo 1 at Normal @1280x1024. 1024x768 is okay though
