Do I have to worry about it if everything on my computer seems to be working correctly? I know it's on me system because I looked at the folder in regedit. If I uninstall it will I be able to play my games correctly still?

Is it harmful to my system in any way?

Securom is pretty limited on what it does. If you use software that allows you to run isos, it can cause some conflictions. An example would be, I use a program to run my backup isos for most of my cd's COD6, orange box, devil may cry 4 all work, but if I try to install fallout 3 with this method it will give me a pop up saying insert a real disk "which I do have". I haven't had any problems at all with securom when it comes to running other games though. As a matter of fact I've had more problems with EA's download manager than securom.

Ok I feel better now. I buy most of my games on steam anyway and there hasn't been any problems yet. I have had trouble with EA download manager in the past so I never install it anymore.
