    What is going on with this game? (GTA4 black screen)

    So I installed this game on my new laptop.
    (HPdv7-2043cl, 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 4650 1GB, Intel Core2 Duo T6400 2.0 GHz)

    The game starts up fine. It turns on logs into GFW Live and after the Rockstar and GTA IV logos come up the screen goes black...and stays black.

    I installed all my latest drivers and updates, (ATI, Maintenence updates, GFW updates, Windows is up to date) but nothing has changed.

    Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with this? The game works completely fine on my desktop computer.

    Have you tried to install the latest patch?? Maybe it will work...
