What is the best integrated videocard for gaming that you can find in a notebook? I know they are not meant for gaming but if anybody would have any knowledge or links that could tell me what integrated graphics chip is the most powerful it would be appreciated.

The X1270 is much better than the X3100.

Just wondering, is there any reason at all you would be thinking of getting an integrated card for gaming vs. a dedicated card? Surely whatever your price range is you can find a laptop with a decent dedicated card that'll beat a slightly more expensive laptop (same price after whatever you pay to get the dedicated card on the former laptop) with an integrated card.

The ATI X200 still impresses a lot of people like me. My friend has one in his 11" MSI notebook. Don't know about the newer IGPs.

Comparing the power of integrated cards and which is better than the other is like watching two morons in a Civic and Geo arguing which car is faster, and which will get to 100hp first.

Basically, the only benefits of an intergrated card is it save power and the laptop doesn't get as hot.

Probably the X3100, it's the newest one at the moment.

The x3100 is prob newest, but intel doesn't ussually make good cards. My vote goes to ati x1270

Well said. But here I go with that silly argument, X3100 being best when new drivers come out. Don't hold your breath I will believe when I see.
