    Heya fellas,

    I was wondering what the top 3 performing video cards out there on laptops currently. So far I've been looking at the IBM Lenovo T61p which comes with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M 256MB. Is it one of the best performers out there or is there something better?

    I advise reading the big sticky by Chaz at the top of the forum page and looking under the mobile GPU guide. You also have to give info on which size notebook you're making comparisons since the best performers for mobile graphic cards are exclusive to 17" and above.

    Top three mobile graphics solutions available currently, in order, would be SLI 7950GTX, SLI 8700M-GT, SLI 7900GS.

    The top three cards currently available are the Go7950GTX, the 8700M-GT, and the HD2600XT.

    There are also other various high end DX9 cards like the Go7900GTX, the MR X1900, and such, but I'd stick with one of the three cards I mentioned above for best performance and longevity.

    It is currently the king of 15"4/14" laptops so yes it is a good card.
    But if you want more powerfull go for the mentioned above but remmember that they currently only come in 17"+ DTR

    in 15" I belive ti goes

    fx570m=8600GT, 2600HD, 8600GS/7600GT

    Actually, in 17", a SLI 7900GS would be better than the 8600M-GT SLI.

    And the HD2600XT isn't offered in 15.4", and anyhow it's better than the 8600M-GT by a significant margin.

    7900GS in SLi isn't available anymore... the legendary m9700 died last week... shame really, WUXGA screen standard $1550, SLi at less than $2000...

    Ahh, that's too bad. That means the W830-DA isn't available in North America anymore.
