    What is the difference between Verde driver and Optimus driver?

    is it the same but just newer versioin of Optimus is called Verde?

    The 'verde' driver is the driver that nvidia releases directly (as opposed to the variants released by the different laptop manufacturers. 'Optimus' does not refer to a specific driver and should be supported by any nvidia laptop drivers released after initial support for it. As far as I know, there is no version of the driver called 'Optimus' and the current verde drivers are the ones you want.

    Ah. That looks like an artifact from when Optimus first got released. I can definitely see how that looks confusing.
