dunno if theres a list or not

    but i m looking for a laptop with x1600 around 1000 dollars

    ---
    edit:
seems like no notebook around 1000 contains x1600

i only want to play games like DOD, CSS, BF2, BF2142 (i just played BF2142 and its awesome!) smoothly on medium - high setting

Nvidia works too! Anything that lets me do the things above.

You will be very hard pressed to find a laptop with an x1600 for less than 1000USD. I think that your only option would be to buy a barebones system. That won't give you a working computer, though. Maybe you can find a good deal on a used computer.

Consider the hp nc8430, S96j , Macbook pro, W3J, Acer Aspire 5672WLMi, etc...

There are other computers with the go7600, the nVidia option.

    LOL

    good luck with that

    i couldn't find any x1600/7600 for below 1400 CAD

and thats with the AMD processor, intel core 2 duo with x1600/7600 cost even more

you could get a used one at that price though if you're lucky

you might be able to get an Inspiron 9400/9300/xps for around 1000 at the outlet

    www.dell.com/outlet

you can try to build a bare bones system for around 1000 as well

all those options will probably run you over 1000, sadly you're going to have to buy used

The Acer Aspire 5672 has a 128 MB x1600 for about $1100. For a little more money, however, you could get a better-built notebook.

$1250 will get you a basic Asus S96J or Compal HEL80/HGL30.

That looks like a good deal
I got a Core duo 2.0 ghz X1400 256mb gpu, 1gb ram, 100gb hdd and every thing ur getting for 1150. the x1400 isnt a bad card, its actually quite perfect, it wont break the bank, and will run most games today (on about Low-medium) on 1280 x 800 (ive tried it with BF2142, and FEAR) with about 35-40 FPS. Trust me, it doesnt look bad on medium-low.

You will be happy with that. I just got the E1505 w/ 2.0 core 2 duo, 2 gig of ram and the x1400 and I play Never Winter Nights 2 on a daily basis. I'm not sure how this game compares with others, but I can play it on about Medium (slightly lower for some settings) and it runs smoothly. I also have a NW8440 with a 1.83 core duo with 1 gig of ram and the x1600 and that can run it at medium high. Can you tell the difference? Absolutely, but if you didn't know about how good it looks on the x1600, the x1400 will be great. Kinda get what i'm saying? If you drove a toyota camary and you liked it, everything would be fine, unless of course you test drove a lexus and then you would want that ;-).

Acer 5112 is a very great choice!
    Mine get 2500 3dmark05.
    It's 1300$US (jr.com). I think it's cheaper in Canada..
