Hey guys i've got a bit of a problem here with my Dell 6400

With the stock Dell video drivers, everything works fine except my FusionHDTV USB dongle, which the software says "Overlay not available".

So I thought I would try the latest mobility 6.7's...

The 6.7's fixed the overlay problem, but they make my screen all jagged with lines and crap everywhere. See screenshot:

So what other drivers could I try? I heard the Omega's aren't any good for the X1x00 series cards... what about the mobility 6.6's ?

Very strange problem you have there. Try Omega's, they are good. Or else formatting your laptop.

OK well the Omega's are giving me the same problem as the Dell drivers

"Overlay not available" when trying to watch HDTV

Anyone have a link to the mobility 6.6's ?

Somethings crappy with the fusion software me thinks, should nothing be wrong with the omega drivers when it comes to something like the overlay. If you can load a movie and full screen it and hav it looking smooth, your overlay is working fine. The device is at fault.

I'm still having this problem with the Mobility 6.7 drivers.. i'm starting to think that this only happens when my laptop has been resumed from standby

    Temps seem fine

    Any other ideas?
