well... if its what you want to hear then **** that's a good laptop. Cost you in excess of $4k im sure.
I run a humbler 1680*1050 resolution on a 15". Can't imagine using a higher res than this on such a small screen (although also can't imagine using anything worse like WXGA) -
640x480
-
I remember the times when I was running Duke3D at 320x240
-
1280x800 on a 15.4" screen. I consistently use this in both games and work.
-
2560x1024 resolution on my desktop.
-
At work I'm on 1600 x 1200 x2- 3200 x 1200 total (dual monitors lol) I could use 2048 x 1536 but it messes with some settings. -
Edit: just realized, are you using dual monitors -
1600x900 non intensive games
1280x800 (or around that resolution) for intensive games
using 13.1 inch LED laptop screen -
1280x800 on both laptops. The inspiron 1520 can run COD 4 fine at the res.
-
1680 x 1050 for gaming. x3 to monitor my coworkers and the servers. I'm making sure they aren't downloading **** onto my servers!!!!!
-
1366x768 for just about everything.
-
-
1440x900 on my laptop for graphic intensive games.
1920x1200 on my external LCD for the games I can pump graphics all the way up. -
1440x900 in windows...
Run it in most games too, but if its dropping the FPS too much usually ower it to 1280x800, or another 16:10 res. -

I run 1920x1200 whenever possible. I normally start cutting quality settings before I cut resolution, but that depends on the game and the filtering settings.

1920x1200 desktop and gaming...

Native is 1680x1050 , and I refuse to lower the resolution; I'd rather turn down the settings and maintain a sharp picture.
-
1680x1050 for surfing and older games, 1280x800 for the newer and more demanding games.
What resolution are you running?
