I being playing knightonline.com is a free game unless u want a few extra stuff (which i did). But the game is full of lag and hacker that don't want to play for ever to be the best. So i was thinking since I am already paying for game, why not play a game that everyone need to pay and have real game administrater.
Since I away being a fan of fanal fantasy I was thinking of getting ffXI. But now I am cunfuse because many people here alway talk about WoW or UT2004. I haven't play or check neither of them. So I want you guys to help me out which game is better? do they also had people that hack or aduse a bug? Which one is more fun compare to knightonline? Btw I don't have the best gaming notebook is the zv5000z. Oh also do I need to buy WoW or UT2004 game like i need to buy ffXI or just download them and pay the monthly fee?

ok, out of those two only WoW is an RPG, Unreal is an FPS game. so I would say WoW.
Personally I have never played WoW, but my roommate and a lot of his friends love it. If you like warcraft II, III, frozen throne, then you'll like WoW as it lets you play out some of the story from these games, and is supposedly pretty accurate too.
As for what it needs, WoW requires at least a 32mb vid card perferably dedicated for decent performance.

WoW all the way!
although pvp honor system were just set in motion, so expect to die a whole lot of times as you try to level up... hahhaha

you will want to use a keyboard to play wow. i have been playing since it came out on my dual opteron computer. for wow, youll need at around 1 gig of ram to play without to much hardware lag. a good vid card helps also

I think the server name is Uhter (something like that). For my character I choose a rogue night elf. But I was just checking wow forums, and it seen like a lot of people complain that a rogue can't fight on a pvp group, that they are weak, low attack and the only thing good they could is play on solo battle and to make money. So I am thinking maybe I should change my character, what u think? btw what server, race and class are you? Which race and class you think are better for pvp?

I have a ZV5000Z--Athlon 64 3200+, 512mb x 1, 60 gb 4200 RPM, 64mb GeForce440, and I wanted to ask anyone here which could be the best way for setting wow. Because a few days ago I put everything on video setting to high everything was ok untill I went to Stormwind and it starting laging like crazy, so I had to change the setting to low again, So now I have the resolution on the highest i can 1280 x 800 and rest on low beside 60fps (which I don't know what it does). Does having high resolution affect the speed of the game? What does the 30 or 60 fps does? What setting do you recomend that I should have, that allow the game to have speed and quality?
Also why is it that some time te sound is like coming and going (on and off)? What should I do for this? Please help. -
yes, the higher the resolution, the more demanding it is on the graphics card. Your graphics card is not very fast, and you probably need to tune down the resolution.
Try keeping it at 1024x768. It might be slightly skewed, but it's probably more playable.
Also you probably need to turn all the details, lighting, etc settings to either medium or low. FPS stands for frames per second. Basically, for comfortable gaming, you need to be able to maintain a minimum FPS of 30. Maximum FPS is utterly meaningless.
One thing I did notice about your system is you only have 512mb of RAM. WoW is actually quite memory intensive -- 1GB would help with the lag as well.
You are just at stormwind? [] long way to go... lol

yea forgot you are Night Elf. haha
You gonna REALLY wish you have more memory when you start getting into big raid situations, with 30-40 players on-screen killing each other...
Did you get PKed (player-killed) en-route to Iron Forge? On my server (PvP), a couple Hordes regularly camp en-route to get cheap kills off newbies. lol I've thus changed my pvp policy to "kill all hordes regardless of level" from "kill all hordes if they are at least green to me". heh

Well I play on a normal server I don't know if that change the problem of getting attack by horde. Either way I was escorted by 2 level 35 to 40 player they where trying to help me, so I could joing their guide. So they took me the stormwind to level up faster.
-
So on normal their is no PvP? What you said about hitting people sound cool especially using stealth. Can I switch my caracter to another server?

Try Guild Wars, though I not sure its exactly an RPG, there are RPG elements to it. There are individual quests and party quests (done with other players) and some PVP aspects to it. The game it most like is Phantasy Star online (but much better). It runs well on moderate systems, it should do fine on your zv5000. Plus its free (no monthly fee) you just have the initial purchase ($49.99) and thats it. IF you got a Fry's near you its onsale for $35-40 bucks.
What rpg should I get?
