oops, hit enter by accident and no way to edit.. [:I]

Anyway I only have Doom3 and enjoyed it but it did seem a little generic (not a complaint really I liked it).

I'm thinking of getting far cry now, how is the action in it like? A lot of sneaking around and sniping, planting explosives and stuff? Tell me about it and I'll pick it up if its like this, been awhile since I played a good tactical game.

There is a free demo you can try, start with that. I've only played the demo but liked that more then Doom3

Actually Farcry gives me more realistic results...I cant keep my eyes out sea...all the scenes are really excellent...dark places, absurd materials and creators makes doom out...

OK, tried farcry out. WAAAY better experience. I really really like doom3 but it was first game with my new rig and it blew my socks off. Farcry just has so many more gameplay elements to it and is bright and uplifting scenery where doom3 is better played after nightfall.

Both top of the line games but far cry is my fav now.

Farcry / not to mention i can barely run doom3 on my laptop whereas farcry looks pretty decent even on low settings. Anyone have any hint on how to kill the last guy in farcry? I cant get him

I prefer Farcry over Doom III. Nicer environment, more realistic(but I guess you don't play Doom III if you want realistic[ ;)])

I prefer farcry too, found the game play to be more interesting and enjoyable. Doom3 is great but a bit sameish for me
