    What settings should i use in riva tuner for my gpu?

    Im using a 8400m gs(v1500) and i was wondering what setting i should use in riva tuner.I get ok game performance but i want to oc it alittle just for more fps.Dell repaired my sig but gave me a 8400 instead of a new 8600.

    I have that already, but i dont know what numbers i should set the shaders,clock to.

    But what settings should i use when using the system tools? WHat colck settings are reccomended?I usually play bf 2142, and my warranty is over so thats the best they could give me.

    push up the clocks 50 MHz at a time and test its stability and watch the temps.

    If your suposed to have a 8600 instead of a 8400. Get back there, and get a 8600 or better. Last thing you want is to get ripped off.

    Otherwise, just increase the clocks slowly and test. What I did with my last laptop is increased 25-50mhz at a time, ran 3dmark06. And repeated and watched/recorded temperature changes. Then just find were you feel comfortable. Then test it out for about a couple of days and see if theres any problems.
