Right now I am
1920 x 1200
2x aa
dx9
all @ high
hdr and bloom enabled
I get avg 20 fps but as low as 15. If I can just get 5 more with out ruining the look of the game I would be happy. Tweak guides has nothing on this one, only the original, and the game spot guide was meh.

turn off the aa, at that rez you won't really be able to tell a difference the game will still look great
-
Yep. Disabling AA is your best bet. Personally, I don't like bloom, but thats just me.

I actually took aa off, and noticed some jaggies. Very slight but I hate them with a passion. How do you guys feel about shadows?

it gets boring in time
i was also fascinated by it's looks and gameplay at the beginning, but the story is very boring, all missions are the same, just like in Assassin's creed I
About your settings, turn of AA and maybe bloom, i don't like bloom on games idk why. Try to get at least 30 fps, otherwise it feels stuttering. -
Turn down the Geometry in the options menu and keep all other settings like you have that will boost framerate, besides you barely see any difference
-
IMO , its boring and not worth it.. don't play but if u really want to , turn down aa and physX and some details..

You could always try OCing your card to boost frames. Another 5 fps should be easily attainable with a reasonable overclock. Farcry is one of those games to come back to now and again. I personally got bored after a while but then came back couple months later and finished it

I would watch some scenery or something becuase while the game maybe beautiful it is really crap lol

Turning down the shaders usually helps, most of the time I can't even tell the difference in image quality.
What settings should lower in Far Cry 2 without sacrificing the games beauty...
