I recently picked up a Lenovo e420 on the cheap (350...) i5-2410m with 4gb ram. My question is what should I do first on it, most bang for my buck so to speak. More ram/ssd/ or egpu?. Eventually ill do all 3.

The most gaming I do on it is diablo3 on low settings

Can you post a full spec of your laptop? Its hard to decide to upgrade which one first without the spec.

Unless you have some specific need that you have to meet with your computer's performance, it doesn't make sense to me for you to spend a significant chunk of money to upgrade a $350 computer. Just save up for a better computer down the road.

That doesn't matter, as long as your laptop meets your needs. Upgrade when it stops meeting your needs; there's no point doing so before then.

As for your specs, your E420 has much more power than you'll probably use, other than in the graphics department: for more intensive gaming, a computer with a discrete GPU would be beneficial. An eGPU setup would work as well, so if you want to game at higher settings, you should set that up. No need to upgrade RAM/HDD unless you really want to.
