Hello guys
I have a BIG problem !
I have send a mail to the Asus Service, i asked if the temperatures in my G1S are normal (My GPU is like 93°C under full load)
They answered me:

What should i do now![]()
Everybody who has an Asus G1S has such high GPU temperatures![]()

So just send it in for repairs that is much to high for a processor to run at.
-
It's my GPU (8600M GT GDDR3) that gets so hot -
OOPs sorry. well good thing your processor does not run at those temps. Well I have heard that the 8600GT GDDR3 does get hot on nearly everything it is on but I think those temps are 20 degrees above usual so I would still send it in if the guy told you so.
-
ouch 90C is too much! dont you get burned?
-
Send it or repairs. There must be something that`s now properly conducting the heat outside of the chasis. Also, since it`s in warranty, send it right away, might be a faulty GPU.
You aren`t OCing, are you? if you are, GO TO DEFAULT SETTINGS before sending the laptop back. If you have not tampered with the settings, just check the vents for dust, and also, keep the laptop on a solid surface at all time when gaming.(like a table , etc) -

-
Consider that 100 degrees is the boiling point of water = you should have your skin surface burned...so for me the temp is wrong.
Try another software or view the temp from bios -
-
Odd, my GPU can go up to 90 degrees while gaming also, but then the fans kick in to bring it down. Usually sticking within the 80s though.
-
Now, I am not sure if the temperature is wrong, but even the company says it should be lower, he should take advantage of the warranty before it's too late. -
lozanogo you could be right but first of all i take an eye to the bios temp...

Please do not cross-post(posting the same thing in multiple forums.
Please continue your discussion in the thread in the Asus section of the forum.
