the sad part is I want all those, plus on my 360 I just got fifa 09, Fable 2 is coming, as well as gears of war 2. I have money but I think my grades would plummet If I keep buying games so I probably wont get to any of these until late november :(

I doubt Fable 2 will be out on PC for a while but that would have been my second choice...

I'd recommend the opposite, pick the game which you think you can finish fastest so that you play the others while your interest in them still holds.

ME has etched a tremendous impression on my video game psyche.

The only other video games that have transfixed my appreciation of the medium has been Snatcher, Metal Gear Solid, and Earthworm Jim.

its bad voodoo to start with playing Stalker, you need to have time to really enjoy every bit of the game, same goes with Farcry 2 i guess, id start with something like Brothers in arms Hells Highway, the game is decent, then id try some dead space IMO

    Ack!

Looks like I'm about to have an estranged love affair on the previous list.

Dead Space (PC) was sold out; I purchased a copy of Far Cry 2 from Futureshop for a mere $35 (which roughly translates to about $26 USD).

    PEW, PEW, PEW!!!

Well I love shooters with great eye-candy, anything you'd recommend? I don't think buying Crysis would be a good investment, I only get just over 6000 on 3DMark06. I'm very happy with Bioshock and Half-Life 2 so far. They run great on this GPU.

crysis warhead is a good choice since its only $30 ($25 if you look around) and is runs better that the origional game. I would bet your laptop would handle it well.

Piracy strikes again, unfortunately. 360 games are becoming pirated with the frequency of PC games now. Gears Of War 2 has been out there for a while too, I'm not sure about the new Fable. People don't even hide it anymore.

^^ Ya I have noticed this too. I think the game companies fantasies *cough* EPIC *cough* of going console only is a serious misunderstanding about piracy. Move the medium and you will move the pirates right along with it. They are not doing themselves any favours by limiting their releases to consoles imo.

As much as I'm against pirating games, I can't help but to enjoy the irony of Cliff B citing piracy as the reason for skipping a PC release of Gears 2, only to have a 360 version leaked and torrented weeks before the street date. Delicious lol.

For sure it's ridiculous. I have no problems with a developer wanting to release a game on multiple platforms, but to make such a bold statement as console only because of PC pirates. Pfft, whatever? Maybe their sales on PC were pathetic, I don't know. But Gears was badly ported and UT 3 was just so-so for gameplay. Maybe EPIC should think about making games that are fun to play on PC and people will buy them.

I'm pretty sure that the game in the photo is just a pre-release placeholder. Gamestop has lots of Fallout 3 boxes but those are just for show. Fallout 3 comes out October 28th.

And Walmart will quickly deny your purchase. At least they have for me on a couple of occasions. I don't know why they don't catch it. I have seen games on the shelf that weren't supposed to be released yet, several days before the actual release date. Take it to the front to check out, and they deny the sale. The cashier computer system is smart enough, but the stock boys aren't I guess.

A denied purchases depends greatly on the intelligence of the talking head you encounter at the checkout line.

It has nothing to do with the talking head. It's the electronic scan system that rejects it. Says it is not available for sale yet. It cannot scan or make the sale because it is not supposed to be available yet. Even a manager cannot override it. I tried.
