    IIRC, the g84 series is the 8600m and the 8700m, not sure which one of these is the one in the link you gave...
    the g84 and g86 series was notorious for being defective and having a very high failure rate.. many companies recalled all their cards i believe...
    Although, my old toshiba x205 with a 8700mgt still runs fine..

    From what I could find, it seems this is the same board used in the HP 8710p.

    This is the HP 8710p's graphics board (looks the same)

    The card being used in the 8710p is the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 320M.

    Its probably a good idea to ask the guy selling it as well.


    EDIT:

    Did a quick search on ebay for "HP 8710p nvidia" and yep, it is the same card.

    Have a look at this eBay listing, you can enlarge the image and can clearly see the code name G84-710-A2 written on the card.

    The HP board is also used for Clevo 8700m GT.

    These cards are either 8600m or 8700m GT with 256mb vRAM.
