and first cd that i bought was command and conquer tiberium sun -
can any1 tell me the first game i played i forgot its name but it was basically controlling a jet at the bottom of the screen and enemy jets came from the top and every few rounds in between you upgrade your jet and buy like homing missiles.lasers.bombs etc and stuff.. any1 know that game?

PC - I can't think of the name of it, but I played it on a TRS-80. It was like a fantasy game. You had to type in commands like "pick up rock", "look in room". Graphics were extremely limited.
First console would be the Atari 2600, and I think that it was Pong. -

Oldest one I can remember that I played all the time in school was Oregon Trail, I always had way more meat than I needed because I loved to go hunting, my game start stats was like mostly bullets

Civilization on a NEC DOS based desktop my parents bought for $2200. It had like a 11" screen that weighed more than I did.

And, and, that game where you like zap the flu virus inside peoples bodies!
Then theres Wolfenstein 3D of course, And all those Apogee shareware games (Heretic, Simon the Sorcerer, etc). Snake (that game where you eat the apples and become longer)! I can't remember before those ones...my first game was probably the Oregon Trail, tbh, played that before my family got a computer in school!
That wierd program, Navigator, where you have the different rooms and stuff, that was kinda like a game. There was a writing room, and a play room, and stuff. I don't recall what it was really called or much else about it... -

Alley Cat and Battlezone were 2 of 6 games on a 5 1/4 inch disk (I don't remember the other 4), first ever experience with a PC. Ended up sticking with DOS for far longer than I expected growing up.
