As many of you probably know, there's an upcoming game called Scribblenauts for the Nintendo DS (and hopefully to be ported to other consoles in th future).
For those who haven't heard of it, it's pretty much a puzzle-game where you can write anything that comes to your imagination and summon them on-screen to overcome the obstacle. When I say "anything," I pretty much mean "anything." (Except for vulgar stuff of course)
Here's a short Preview of some of the things you can do:
<object width='425' height='344'><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6CBwXnpuCUQ&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6CBwXnpuCUQ&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width='425' height='344'></embed></object>
Anyways, my brother's most likely gonna get this game for his DS in the future.
I wanted to come up with a list of possible words to write:
So far, some interesting ones I want to see are:
-"Space"
-"Hell"
-"Magic"
-"Everything"
-"Nothing"
-"Emo"
-"Nintendo"
-"Metalhead"
-"Universe"
-"Technology"
-"Chuck Norris"
By the way, when you type "Crowbar," the main character Maxwell references Half-Life by wearing Gordon Freeman's Hazmat suit.
Anyone have any words they wanna try?

Well, they did do Cthulhu, so I'd want to see how deeply they delved into Lovecraftian gods. I might try Y'golonac, to see if they censor headless men. Hahaha.
-
Right now my most anticipated games list consists of
1. Diablo 3
2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
3. SCRIBBLENAUTS
I'm so happy that the studio is tackling games in a new, innovative, seems-to-be-totally addicting way. This is seriously the best idea for a game I have seen in a long time, I'm very impressed how far they are taking the "Create Anything" idea. Here's some more fun that can be had with this game!

Wow, that's a LOT of programming. Did they just take an object and animal dictionary and say "here, create one of everything?"
-
Wow that must be one mean database of stuff on that cartridge. Looks interesting for a Nintendo system.
-
Wonder what would happen if you wrote "pwned" or "owned"?
I planned on getting this game for my mom, but now I want my ds back -
Ohhhh I'm really excited about it.....hmmm 'Manbearpig'
-
'Zombie' -
what will it draw if we say LOL
-
Try "Hockey Player" and "Fighter Jet" (or f-16, f/a-18, f-22, etc)
-
What about "Scribblenauts"? I wonder what would happen if someone typed that. It might unlock some sort of cheat. Haha. -
i would write "mom" in every single challenge.. and beat the game easily...
-
There able to have so many because the sprites are so simple, but they also work because the art style of the game is very simple.
-
Regardless, it's still hundreds and hundreds of not only images, but animations, albeit crude, but still.
What would you write in Scribblenauts?
