Post your score from a gpu benchmarking program.
-
Erh what program? 3dmark03 I can probably get 40,000+ ^^
-
See sig. Guess mine is entry level.
-
-
This is worse than the WEI threads. At least there you get a crappy and unreliable score from a single program.
-
-
I thought there was only 06 and 03 version. Can i change the polls since most people probably use WEI?
-
And Vantage, which is its latest version.
-
Most people only use 06 and Vantage nowadays. WEI is inaccurate. -

Soviet you put your vote in the wrong section..

Soviet Sunrise Notebook Prophet
Close enough. The point ranges are really wide. It would be better to make 10 samples with smaller ranges instead of four really wide ones with one of them being impossible for even the fastest notebooks. My computer sucks anyway.

10276 @ 1366x768
so i guess at standard res about 9700 -
If this thread's going to be for 3DMark06 (not that we haven't had enough threads about 3DMark06...) then everything from the Nvidia 7400 go to the GTX260m is going to fit into "entry level".

I don't really know the values for Vantage, but I'd assume for high-end card that drops into the <10,000 range, a low-end card drops into the <1000 range, so it'd be a 1-to-1 tradeoff.
-
-
If it were 3DM06, it would be <3000 is low end, 3000-7000 is med, 7000-14000 is high, and anything above that is ultra high
Vantage on the other hand is just buggy as hell, there's so many issues with it, memory leaks, texture leaks, polygons stretching awkwardly etc, that it can't be used as a trustworthy benchmark. -

If I wanted to do a "standard" vantage run that I can compare to others, what options do I turn on/off?
-
-
It's an older score. My newer one is around 10500. -
thinkpad knows best Notebook Deity
Um.. Correct me if i'm wrong, but did that ORB program just classify the i7 as the norm nowadays? Yeah... right..

thinkpad knows best Notebook Deity
Are you kidding me? The i7 ain't too mainstream if you ask me considering they haven't even figured out a way to produce a mobile i7.. Wow, when my T61p thinkpad comes it will be about netbook power compared to this crap. Does every game need to be completely real? I'd rather have very solid physics if i had to sacrifice the eye candy. 3000 barrel Crysis video on YouTube (Y)!

Thread Fails, how can you have a numerical vote cast poll when there is more than one criteria.
One person may vote Vhigh with a junky old computer running aquamark and the next guy votes low with the most powerfull laptop in the world because he ran Vantage Extreme.
so I vote Vhigh I got over 100,000 on Aquamark
3dmark09 Vantage should be used for benchmarking comparisons period if your serious about comparing data, even 3dmark06 is now too old and easy to run for real data as on a newer high end laptop the program is heavly cpu bound leaving the laptop with the faster cpu looking more powerfull than the one with more actual gaming power (more gpu power) the most common real life example is the fast dual core cpu scoring a lot higher than the lower clocked quad core because the quad cant use all 4 cores on 3dmark06 for video rendering parts and thus gets cpu bound easy with fast gpu(s).
My W90 can just barley get 20,000 on 3dmark06 standard when I cpu overclock but I can turn off one of my video cards and get the same score lol, so my gpu's are totally not being used to there max.
Also if you were to make a new thread later in life and you want to vote for points, not only does the same program need to be used for all, but the same test resolution and settings. Vantage Performance is the most common and most people can run it, High & Extreme often cant be run by some people due to not having a monitor with a high enough resolution. -

And I re-stated it and added the information needed to make a non fail thread
