This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    This was/is one of my favorite places to get old and new PC games for cheap, I just went to check to see what they had in the usual "48 Hour Madness" section, but I got the following instead. I hope this is only temporary...

    Works fine for me. Maybe you have spyware redirecting you, or it temporarily went down.

    Hmmm...it still isn't working for me....I wonder if I do have spyware....this would be a first for me as I am super careful with my computer and the internet....hmmmmmmmmm.............

    I got the same host screen at first, but refreshed it several times and the site finally showed up. Looks like IE7's popup blocker was blocking the site....

    I ordered F.E.A.R platinum edition a few days ago and it worked great.

    Edit: Looks like you are right, site is down and someone forgot to put the check in the mail ;)

    I think it is. The hosting bill wasn't paid on time, and then when the site came back up the change wasn't reflected on every DNS server yet. Using OpenDNS servers, I get the hosting page, but if I switch back to my ISP's DNS then it loads fine.
