    Hi guys

    1) What's next in mobile GPUs after the NVIDIA 485M ?
    The 560M and 580M?
    Any plans for a 590M?

    2) And what are the proposed dates for launch, if any?

    Many thanks

The two big boys at the moment are the 485M and the 6970M both are smashing the limits and even though the 485M seems to be winning the 6970M is a fantastic card and the one I will be picking up in the near future.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-485M-SLI.49201.0.html Is the place to watch out for new cards coming up they normally list them before they bench or test them.

    no 580M listed :(
and the 560M is not much of an upgrade, it is way down the ladder under class 1.

Mobility says what it means unfortunetely even though looking at some of the mobile cards these days they are bigger than some of the desktop ones lol

What mobile cards are you referring to that are bigger than some desktop ones? The dies themselves are typically the same, desktop cads have more space so I don't see why they'd make a circuit board with less space than a laptop one.
