What's the bloodiest/goriest game you've played? *IMAGE WARNING*

Just like the title says. I could go for a nice gorefest of a game and want to hear some input.

 

Prototype and Wolverine Origins.

 

Fallout3 can get pretty gory, doubt its the goriest though.

For me it is Fallout 3.

 

Fallout 3 with the Bloody Mess perk is beautifully gory.

 

Probably Postal 2. The game itself sucks but it's fun for an hour because you can do such absurd things.

 

It isn't an exceptionally gory game by FPS standards, but FarCry 2 can be pretty extreme when you're trying to heal yourself - ripping shrapnel out of yourself, using pliers to dig bullets out of your leg, pushing stuck bullets through your arm...

And Myth and Myth II were pretty gory. Especially when you've got dwarves tossing grenades into clustered enemies - body parts go *flying*, blood trailing behind them.

Those were awesome games.

Good old Doom 3 . But i havent played the games mentioned above . Also painkiller was alright .

 

God, there are so many great gory games! hard to choose the most goriest for me... there are just so many...

I used to love Thrill Kill back in the day on the PS1, anyone remember it? was never released due to the content, but was leaked online.

Some nice gory bloody brutal kills on that!

Doom 3 (scared the crap out of me, have yet to finish)
Manhunt (too disturbing for me to continue with it)
Postal (same as Manhunt, played demo only)

the scene inside the riftworm in Geow2 is sick, you destroy its heart and u nearly drown in blood...you gotta youtube it, its pretty nasty/bloody

and i have fallout with the bloody mess perk, and as fun as it was, it seemed too funny to be considered truly gory. i mean come on, its jsut ridiculous how the body parts literally just explode

Bloody and Violent games my favorite as a kid.

The first one that took the stage probably only a very few of you may have ever seen or know of it.

Way of the Warrior on the 3DO system.

It put mortal kombat to shame with the blood/gore some of the end moves did.

More recently maybe also to your surprise two of the most bloody games I know of are on the Nintendo Wii!

No More Heros - decapitating like 20 guys at once and watching blood flow in the air like a broken main water line, and the crem de la crem, MadWorld where the entire point of the game is to murder people in the most violent and bloody ways possible.

> Time Killers - Old fighthing game in the arcade, can take of entire limbs and decapitate

> Mortal Kombat - The core bloody fighter we all know and love (well love up until MK3)

Left 4 Dead 2 I guess. Because it is very violence and bloody.
Resident Evil 5 is not bad as well.

The next Bloody/Grossy games would be Alien vs Predator(AVP).

 

Easily Doom 3.

 

Nexiuz is a pretty darn bloody and gory game. And it's free.

for me its gotta be soldier of fortune double helix in its time it was super gory and uber violent

 

It's got to be Postal 2 ...... Full of blood gore and absurd activity

 

Two old games I remember when I was younger were nightmare creatures and loaded. Both were gory for ps/1 games.

 

Dead Space, Doom 3, CoD WaW can be gory with people's limbs flying off. Borderland is a little gory too in an anime way, but only when it comes to headshots.

 

Probably madworld on the wii.


Any game where you can shove a street sign through someones face, shove a big tire over them and launch them into the path of a incoming train has to be quite gory

LOL indeed, i'd say Call of Duty World at War is gory.. especially when you blow heads off with rifle and mg rounds!

 

Prototype did u try just cutting people with the blades of helicopter??? lol

aaaaand none of these games come close to what real life gore is like.
i do forensic science, and seeing pictures of a heavily pregnant woman torn in half by a seatbelt in a car crash... THAT is gore. i wont go into details, but you can imagine what happens. torture is pretty intense too, but i dont think describing that is tech forum friendly.

i dont think there are any truely gory games tbh, not nearly as gory as some films are. bloody, yes, plenty of games spurt out 20 pints of blood a second, but i dont think a game could ever be more gory than real life.

 

Prey was kind of disturbing. Seeing your grandfather's torso cross-section cut open by an alien machine is not the most calming thing in the world.

 

I found RE4 to be pretty gory.

personally i think manhunt on ps2 was the most goriest game played, i mean there are so many ways to kill, it just keeps u thinking

Yeah Madworld was my vote too, its more brutal and bloody than any game I have ever seen period. You may get more blood/guts on other games but they will not compare to the pure insanity and brutality.

I love the "rose bush" when you pick up a guy and just repeatedly bash them on a sharp object over and over.

 

yep madworld, that seem to be the first wii game i actually like...good job on making a fun-looking MATURE game for the wii!
