    I like staying abreast of latest drivers so just downloaded version 9x.xx but the installer claimed that it was not compatible w/ my 7800Go. What gives?

    My current is 78.59.

    You need to download the drivers that are modified for notebook graphics cards if you aren't going to use the ones that Dell provides. You can get the modified drivers from tweaksrus.com or laptopvideo2go.com. If you download from laptopvideo2go, make sure to download the modified .inf file and save over the old one in the driver package for it to work with your graphics card. The driver you choose is really up to you, I use the 91.28, they're up to 91.33 now.

    How would I choose which version suits me best? Are you suggesting there are pros/cons to each driver version of FW?
