What's the next 2010 game you're waiting for?

I'm having trouble finding anything coming out soon. I have a ton of backlog games I want to play but wondering what the next blockbuster is going to be?

 

Off the top of my head there's Civ V, Fallout: New Vegas, Call of Duty 7: Black Ops, and Medal of Honor.

 

Final Fantasy XIV and COD 7.

 

I'm going to get pummeled for this...oh well.....Halo: Reach

It's the last Halo game bungie will release, after this it's getting transfered to 343 Studios so it'll be the last one that just feels like home.

I'll go with Fallout: NV.....will wait and see on COD7 and Medal of Honor, have too many similar style titles already (R6: Vegas, MW, MW2.....)

 

Medal of Honor....can't really see Black Ops being all that good after how MW2 got butchered.

Civilization V and any action RPGs. 2011 has a lot of those... (Diablo 3, Grim Dawn, Dungeon Siege 3, Fable 3, Bastion, Path of Exile, Torchlight 2)

 

Black Ops...I have faith in Treyarch, and the multiplayer looks great.

MOH looks like a dud so far, lousy reviews.

TDU2 was supposed to be 2010, but got delayed. So was Crysis 2, and a whole host of games...I wish GT5 came out on PC though. That amount of visual splendor and detail just seems wasted on a console.

Final Fantasy 14, Fallout:New Vegas, Medal of Honor, Fable III are the big 4 that I am looking forward to

 

Really wish the new fallout wasn't taking place in Vegas. I lived there for 4 years and don't exactly have good feelings about the place.

All other games I'm looking forward to have been delayed/announced/expected to be 2011:

Portal 2: Feb 9, 2011
Diablo 3: TBA (last I read; likely 2011)
Torchlight 2: Q1 2011
Star Wars The Old Republic: Q2 2011

In the meantime, I have Starcraft 2 and Borderlands to keep me entertained until October.

 

pffftttfft I would have been genuinely surprised if MS let this last Bungie Halo come to PC, though I never even played the first.

 

diablo 3, gran turismo 5, black ops, and a GOOD pvp MMORPG. in that order.

 

All I have left for 2011 is out this month.

EDIT: Front Mission: Evolved - September 28th

After those, I need to hit my backlog heavily, because Q1 of 2011 is ridiculously packed. Dead Space 2, Space Marine, DoW2: Retribution, Dragon Age 2, and so on.

Really looking forward to this since I loved HP2 and the burnout games

I'm also looking forward to Black Ops. I didn't get MW2 due to lack of dedicated servers, but I will get this as long as they font remove the dedi servers, plus the wager modes looks awesome.

Maybe if i get some spare time il grab NFS Hot Pursuit (3), but i got a feeling il be "grinding" cars.

 

I have to say the 2 most interesting to me are The Witcher 2 and Spiderman. Fallout if it wasn't in Vegas.

Looks like The Witcher 2 and Spiderman are TBA released dates though...

 

Hmmmm, honestly all I have left this year i'm looking forward too is World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Everything else is 2011 (Torchlight 2 and Diablo 3 mainly).

Never played Two Worlds 1, but Two Worlds 2 actually looked really good in the latest Gameinformer magazine.

 

Why do people insist on calling Black Ops "CoD 7"? They stopped using the traditional sequel numbering after CoD4:MW...World at War was not CoD5, Modern Warfare 2 was not CoD6, and Black Ops is not CoD7. Maybe it's just me, but that bugs me.

Personally, I am waiting for Black Ops, as well as the new Medal of Honor. Given than DICE is handling MoH multiplayer, it's sure to be a dud, but I'm holding out for the single player; I have never been disappointed by any Medal of Honor series campaigns.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

I know it's not a PC game (right away) but what can I say, everything else is just so-so to me.

For PC games maybe MoH or CoD? Honestly the only PC game coming out in the next number of months that's a day 1 purchase for me is Portal 2 and that's not till Feb 2011.

I also like the looks of Dead Rising 2 but it isn't a day 1 purchase for me. Very few games are.

 

NHL11, Gran Turismo 5. Can't see myself making too many PC game purchases for the rest of 2010.

 

Next 2010 game? NHL 11, Halo: Reach, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. NHL and Halo I'll be getting for the 360, AC I'll probably wait for the PC version.

 

The games I was really interested in got delayed until next year (Portal 2 and Crysis 2).
