In honor of Star Wars Day, what's your favorite Star Wars game of all time on any platform?
Mine is Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.

I like the Jedi Knight games as well. Kotor is good too. TIE fighter and X-Wing were also great.. Man that was a long time ago...
EDIT: in a galaxy far, far away. -

The question is what's your favorite Star Wars game, not what's your favorite BioWare game. -
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
Anyway, the only two SW I ever played were KOTOR and KOTOR 2, so I guess these will have to do. -
-
I really enjoyed Battlefront 2 at the PS2 and Knights of the Old Republic at the PC.
I'm considering replaying KOTOR to remember it's history, and then play KOTOR 2 with mods (haven't played it yet). -
I'd say Force Unleashed 2... I did like Battlefront but Force Unleashed 2 was the one I liked a bit more
-
I have to go by series, then game within the series:
1. KOTOR (1. KOTOR, 2. SWTOR, 3. KOTORII)
2. Jedi Knight (1. Jedi Knight, 2. Jedi Knight II: Outcast, 3. Jedi Knight Academy, 4. Mysteries of the Sith, 5. Dark Forces)
3. X-Wing/Tie Fighter (1. X-Wing: Alliance, 2. X-Wing, 3. Tie-Fighter, 4. X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter) -

Kotor 1 & 2.
Also still play SWTOR with some old friends.
It is still a decent MMO with nice graphics and Fun PvP.
Would love a Kotor 3 but I dont think that will ever happen.

TIE Fighter Collector's CD edition, the version of the game that when last I checked wasn't being included in the bundles.
Edit:
GOG added the Collector's CD editions for X-Wing and TIE Fighter on 28 April.
Looks like I'll be buying a joystick sometime soon.Last edited: May 6, 2015 -

The force unleashed if I had to choose also soulcalibur 4 (star wars playable guests) is a worthy mention. Not so much into star wars like when I was a kid but those games I enjoyed. I remember seeing the original in the theater as a young kid and man, the force unleashed brought me right back to being a 8yo when I played that.

As much as I wanted to love the Force Unleashed games, the story behind the development of BOTH games kind of showed for me. Where LucasArts basically told the studio mid development A.) You have to get the game out by this exact date, and B.) When that happens everyone no longer has a job at the studio. So it felt equal parts of passion and then phoning it in the rest of the way.

I think it would be nice if they make the forced unleashed 3 some day or a action type game similar to that style of game play again. Other than that my interest in the other starwars games and stuff is just not there.

Tie Fighter and X-Wing.
The First mission in X-Wing (rescue medical frigate) was also featured in X-Wing Rogue Squadron book as a training mission. Talk about flashback. -
The original KotOR. If you install the mods, KotOR II is not bad, but the first one is way better and the MMO is... well, an MMO and not a particularly original or good one at that (the class stories are nice, but almost everything else is not). Some of the Star Wards games in other genres are also very well done, but RPGs are my favorite.
-
Tough to figure out the best game for me but i can at least mention the first one i played. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on the Nintendo 64.
-
So many ppl saying Force Unleashed, makes me wonder how many Star Wars games you've played...
-
KOTOR I (with various MODS) and KOTOR II (with restoration mod), TOR (yes, the MMO - it DOES seem interesting from a story point of view), X-Wing Alliance (that was a good/interesting one - but one cannot play it without a joystick apparently), Rebel Assault II and Jedi Knight series.
There have been various other games through the years I enjoyed from SW, but I have to say that I did prefer the RPG type ones. -
-
Sci-Fi Rules to continue a storyline where the main character is killed: 1. Clones, 2. Time Travel. 3. Alternate Universe, 4. Just ignore the previous story happened and don't even acknowledge or try to answer it.TomJGX likes this. -
Rogue Squadron was one of the first games I ever played, so much nostalgia. I'm curious how do you all feel about the upcoming Battlefront?
-
Except I saw space battles on some gameplay vids.

This ain't "Ground Wars" it's "Star Wars" for crying out loud. -
Oh and "Frostbite is too complex for modders" said DICE. Translation: We're too lazy to release mod tools and it will lose us money.TomJGX likes this. -

Since I have more experience with the Battlefield series and maybe 20 minutes of the Battlefront experience I was expecting a Battlefield game with a Star Wars theme to it. It sounds like they are trying to fit somewhere in between the two worlds, like it won't be a true Battlefield game nor will it be a true Battlefront game. I'm on the fence really, there hasn't been anything that has pushed me to buy it, nor anything for me to boycott it.
