Ok Guys whats better Left for Dead 4 or GTA 4


Should I spend my money on Left For Dead 4 or GTA 4. I already have GTA 4 for the 360 but looking into the PC version for modding so which is funner?

 

They are two totally unrelated games . . . in what sense do you mean 'better'? That's really something you need to decide.

 

I prefer driving games... But I do agree with Chaz, they're not competitors at all.

 

Completely different games... Left 4 Dead is awesome fun. GTA4 is epic. You seem to have the specs to run GTA4, if it were me, I'd buy both as they are both different games, but both equally awesome, in different ways... Am I making sense here?

 

I just heard that it will take a few months for GTA modding to start

 

i would just get L4D for now, wait a little once R* adds some more patches and modders really get there hands on it. Because as of right now, there's nothing special, sure you get better graphics but it's not worth the money yet.

 

i wasnt too happy with the console version, and since the PC one is even buggier right now, id say do what Ghold said and wait a bit on GTA IV til its all worked out and def get Left 4 Dead now cause its awesome

 

Uhhhhh Left 4 Dead no question. The PC version of GTA IV blows so it's a horrible choice.

I haven't played either yet, but with all the bugs with Gta4, would just go with L4D.

 

I'd go with Left 4 Dead.

 

left4dead is better anyway. plus gtaIV is buggy to hell.

and there aren't any mods for gta4, and there won't be for a long time. might as well wait on that. the price will go down. the bugs will get fixed. the mods will come up. you will be less frustrated!

again, left4dead is the better game in my opinion.

Unfortunately I have to go with what Chaz said.

L4D and GTA IV are just to different. If I feel the need to play with other people in some FPS's, I go with L4D. If I feel like jackin' some old lady's wheels, and runnin from the fuzz...I go with GTA IV.

 

He already has GTA IV on 360 to jack old lady's wheels and run from the fuzz -- the PC version is so buggy it's not worth playing yet.

 

left 4 dead- better on PC
GTAIV- better on console

If you got GTAIV on console, get left 4 dead for PC.

 

Since you already have GTA IV on console and you want it on PC for the mods (which aren't really out yet), I suggest you get Left 4 Dead on the PC.

 

OK I am playing on Campaign on PC how do you type while you play campaign

 

GTA 4 probably has a longer life span but I've been there and done that. After GTA 3 + Vice City I'm pretty much GTA'd out.

I've only played the demo for L4D. It seemed fantastic, however I got this feeling that it would get quite repetitive quickly. But again that was just the demo so maybe the MP would breathe new life into it for me.

Personally I'd go L4D.

 

Hard to say, I am enjoying the hell out of both of them. GTA4 harder to get started with that annoying Rockstar social club, and Wndows Live whatever it is. Playing GTA4 is a hell of a lot of fun though. With Left 4 Dead if you already have Steam you are good to go. Don't know could base it on ease of getting started, cause they are both great games.

 

do you mean campaign in left 4 dead?

you push 'Y' i believe to open up all team chat, and then 'U' to open up team chat. the difference is Y will talk to all players regardless of what team they're on, and U will talk to players of your team only.

you can also set a voice chat button to speak to members, as that is much easier to do than typing all the time.

I heard GTA4 was boring.

So, if you've played for GTA-like games and less zombie-like games with multiplayer action, get L4D.

 

whoops, then it's 'U' for all team and 'I' for team chat. i might have changed it myself.

i bind a few things on the keyboard in addition to what's there.

i put k as the "voice player_death". they're normally hilarious to sound off when it's quiet.

 

Y is chat to all players, U is chat to team. When playing campaign it doesn't matter which you press since there's no human enemies anyhow. K is the default push to talk button for your microphone. I prefer never typing and using middle click for the mic though.

 

I use the 360 controller to play but when it activated the keyboard is like locked and it wont let you type any setting do enable 360 controller and keyboard?

Which is "funner"? "Wandering" or 'wondering'?
