    What is with the Day of Defeat:Source servers?

    They have so many rules, it's not even fun anymore.They tried to prosecute me just for saying "damn".Then they get mad at me for shooting into the air in spawn, even though it was my own team's spawn area. :eek:

    I ask why there are so many rules, they say because they want the server "G Rated"......isn't this a rated M game?I know its the owner's server and they make the rules, but this happens on every single server I go on. :confused:

    I dunno, out of all the Counter Strike:Source and Half Life 2 Deathmatch servers I've been to I have never seen all these rules.

    I find a lot of servers like that man, so annoying, this is World at War by the way, but its an M-Rated game for christ sake, people can handle a little dibble daddle with some not so nice words.

    Got kicked for saying 'damn' from a server, damn christian servers. Never know how uptight a server is going to be so I'll usually stick with darn, heck and dammit (funny they never think of that one). Some of them will let you use the f word and the likes, but not damn, hell, god and christ. Funny.

    Yeah, blame the Christians! We never swear... /sarcasm

    In CoD2 I haven't had anyone yell at me for swearing, but that is generally cause everyone (the good servers are often full) is too busy get killed. Furthermore, a lot of the owners just don't want "annoying" people on their server. If you do anything that they dislike they will use that as grounds to kick you. Just the way it is.

    Well every server I go on has these rediculous rules.Most likely I have been on a 5th Rangers server before.All I know is that all moderators had a Sgt. prefix.

    The 5th Rangers are rediculous.... huge dorks they do things like /salute and stuff. Good server, nice people, but VERY VERY strange/dorky.
