    When are the next generation of video cards coming out?

    im talking after the 9800M series cards.... and has it been long since this gen's been out?

    it usually lags about a year behind its desktop counterpart, so that puts the gtx280m and gtx260m in mid 2009. but who knows

    Yeah, With the way that Nvidia keeps renaming their GPU's who knows when they are coming out with *New* ones :(

    I couldn't care less about the following generation for notebook gpu's. They don't seem to improve much. I hope graphics companies are cooking something interesting for the near future.

    id tech 5, (doom 4 and rage) is still in development. TBA. probably late 2009 early 2010.

    I heard that it needs Blu-ray for 1 disc....if it's DVD it has to be atleast 2 discs with the content split up. Will they start releasing PC games on BD like PS3?(of course only for people with BD players)

    BTW Rage looks pretty cool.

    NVidia's latest rebranded cards should be coming out very soon. They'll still be old 8800 series but that shiny new GTX will be all the rage. :)

    i have a basic BD:rom so if bluray games do come out i shud be fine , but they better not dump files onto my hard drive lol !!!!!!
    but considering the data transfer rate of a blu ray disc , games shud be playble of the disc ???
