Ok, so i got this problem allready for about three months. Whenever I start a game, like World of Warcraft, I start playing and after playing for about 5 minutes, suddenly my battery stops charging my pc. The blue led starts to flicker then, and so my % energy starts to decrease. This happens with ALL my games. A very once in a while this happens also when not playing games, and sometimes it just happens when i'm just on the internet or something. Also my battery doesn't charge above 25%. It says it is charging but it just doesn't... I'm really pissed of because I have this laptop ( acer aspire 5741G) only for about a year. I'v searched the internet for solutions, like this one Plugged in, not charging Windows 7 solution : Jeffrey Palermo (.com) , but NOTHING works!
    PLEASE help.

    hi and welcome to nbr

do you leave your battery plugged in all the time?
when you play games are you plugged into mains or running on battery only?

download Battery Care (in sig below) and see how much charge your battery has.
my first battery was left in all the time and after 10 months only had 25% charge. new battery removed when not using for long periods of time and it still has 98% charge after 2 years.

You either need to mess with the battery's chip or get a new one.
From my experience batteries died after a year or so in the following laptops: dell 1505, dell 1520, asus g73. g73 won't even charge while inspirons last a few minutes.

Another possibility is that your AC adapter isn't pushing enough power to charge your computer. An adapter should be able to run the laptop and charge the battery regardless of what it's doing, but if the adapter's power output is lower than it should be, a more intense process like gaming might cause the components to draw more power than the adapter is providing, causing a net loss in battery charge while running these processes.

I think you just need a new battery...
Or as said above, the AC adapter isn't pumping out enough power for your laptop

Assuming you're still under warranty, get your battery and AC adapter replaced.

Yeah, I would have it checked out by the manufacturer.
