    When will we see the 8700m GT for sale?

    Everywhere I go I see that Toshiba is the first manufacturer to offer the 8700m GT in their laptops, but when will they actually start offering it?

    I emailed them, they said mid july, though they are available for pre-order

    yeah id like to know when it will be available besides in toshiba.....only thing from me pulling the trigger on ordering the g2s...lol

    which card do you guys predict will have a better price/performance ratio. the upcoming 8700m or 8800m?

    Well, the 8800M is going to have to sacrifice performance as compared to the desktop 8800 GTX because of heat, battery life, etc.

    I think the 8700M GT is probably going to be the better buy. It is supposed to be a little better than the 7950 GTX, only in DX10 format, which is really good.
