    Where are the mobility hd2600 benchmarks??

    Come on man, where's the love. I'm sure some of you guys already have a laptop with hd2600 pro. Why ain't you guys sharing your opinions on how they perform...?

    seen one seen them all right? apparently it gets about the same as a ddr2 8600GT.

    there is a thread going in the graphics and games section.......

    Although why would people lie about these things? I said apparently because i have not done any myself but from what readings i have done, the consensus is that the HD2600 is comparable to the 8600GT dd2 but slower than the ddr3, the HD2600XT is comparable to the 8700GT.

    I have not read anything that suggest otherwise.

    My guess is that if you bought one, your experience will not fall too much off the mark from what others have said. Nothing suggests the card will be a big disappointment.

    although the ATI cards in general have weak Anti Alias performance but perform better than Nvidia counterparts when AA is turned off.

    Ive ordered an HP HDX which I should be getting soon. It has the Ati HD2600XT in it. Once i get it, ill try and get some benchmarks posted. I agree though, reviews of the latest ati cards have been very hard to find. Mostly just speculation really. Think this is due to not many people owning laptops with those cards in them. Just not as common as the nvidia offerings such as the 8600 and 8700
