NOT CHEAT CS CHEAP CS Moderators can you rename the thread please?

Does anyone know where I can buy CS (1.6 preferably, but source is OK as well) online? I know steam sells CS1.6 for $10, but I was wondering if anyone knew any cheaper sites or knew of any steam sales that they do sometimes.

    THanks

Steam is probably the lowest, I mean $10 is a great deal...

    Tread title fixed :)

I think $10 on Steam is the cheapest you'll find it. I doubt Steam will have a deal on it anytime soon since it's an old game and they're busy promoting new games wit their sales. They won't get very many new customers for CS by having a deal on it since it's already sold a lot; it's much more profitable for them to discount a newer game that lots of people will buy.

In all the years I've had Steam, I've never seen CS 1.6 for less than $10, which is a fantastic price in the first place. The closest thing I've found was a bundle package at GameStop featuring Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, and Half-Life 2 Deathmatch for $20, which if you do the math, comes out to around $6.67 per game.

You might be able to find Source somewhere buried in a Gamestop or something.

Just buy 1.6 for $10. It's really cheap. $10 can buy you a sandwich and a drink in NYC.

yeah seriously, 10 bucks is pretty damn good for such an awesome game. just don't eat lunch tomorrow ($10 bucks in NYC, soviet is right), or maybe even don't buy that sixpack tomorrow night. honestly, i'd rather skip lunch than the six pack..

work for 90 minutes at federal minimum wage. Then find a quarter. You'll have a few cents left over.

Alternatively, if you cannot find a quarter, work an extra 31 seconds.

Then you will have your counter strike!

haha ok I was just wondering if there were any places that sell it cheaper.
I guess $10 for the most played online fps is worth it. I'm just worried there might not be that many servers near me lol
