    The stock creative drivers gives me stuttering. I tried some older beta drivers which work okay, but none of the creative application things work with em so i get 16 bit sound instead of 24 etc

    yes it is.. i would try running the drivers in compatibility mode or something.. creative is known for dogy drivers..
