Look up the "powermizer switch", i know dox's drivers give you the option of installing it with the driver installer.

So is it that the driver won't install or the powermizer switch program won't run?

Tough one, all i can suggest is uninstalling your driver with driversweeper in safe mode, re-booting and re-installing the driver + switch and see if it helps.

Can you just manually edit the registry for the flight, your processor will still downclock so your gonna have to stick with older game i think :(

AH so you followed the steps in the disable powermizer thread and can't find the reg keys to edit?
Have you tried the stock dell driver and download the switch seperatly, or trying a different bios version?

So your card isn't downclocking now? Problem solved? :D

Maybe it's xp then, no first hand experience here. Could be the bios, can you try an older version? Dell could have changed something(? :p) that conflicts with powermizer in the newer bios' due to the whole defective gpu thang.

Can't you just create custom clock profiles in rivatuner and use them to downclock your gpu when not gaming? You can edit registry entry's through the rivatuner "power user" tab to remove the limitations on how high\low you can clock your gpu.
