    The area that lets me know if i need the dual core patch?

    I saw the guide. it's still unclear.

    Also do i really need to do all that extra stuff or can i just install it and let it run.

    Only takes a second to check, so might as well.
    You'll probably find the throttle thing in the registry but the odds are the boot part will need to be added.
