Game? Gamestation? Steam? Websites?
I'm looking for the cheapest places to buy!
-
Amazon.com
-
In Sri Lanka any DVD game just $1 .Come here..Pirated copies work well and people use them like originals.
-
Ebay sealed games from sellers with high feedbacks.
Steam disabled all of my accounts for no reason and the support guys won't message me back with an explanation. $50 wasted right there and I never violated anything. If I buy a game from now on, I want a physical disk in my hands. -
yes i have bought games from sri lanka but they are terrible and half of them don't run, and most cant be updated due to having cracks. Anyway i was looking for legit games, amazon is good i guess but i was looking for a cheap games specialist
-
retail - besy buy
-
game prices are usually always going to be the same with different retailers. if you want a cheap game look for used copies of the games you want to buy. Ebay has used copies, amazon has used copies, gamestop and ebgames. I'm sure there are others as well. Also GoGamer usually has a special running; a game might be cheaper than usual or you might get a bonus with it or such.
Personally I use Amazon for everything but preorders because I love their service. However I use Gamestop (in person) or Ebgames (online) when I preorder a game. I hate ebay.
-
yeah, back home dvd's/cd's are cheap as hell, the only legit game i've ever bought was earth 2142 or something like that
-
Amazon is pretty standard. I've used fye.com, but their prices are inflated.
Steam is cool (I've purchased off it 4 or 5 times), but I prefer to have a box and CD with games that I really like.
Actually, it is pretty nice to just go into a Best Buy and buy games. You get to walk out with it, screw shipping. -
do they actually have retail boxes for pirated games?
eBay is the way to go for used games.... cheap and nice.... -
-
i'm not encouraging anyone to do anything illegal, i'm just answering the question of this thread
-
Big V is really a pirate at heart
-
argh, where's my rum?! haha
-
Amazon, unless there's a sale somewhere
-
I'm a college student without a car, and going to a retail store is always a hassle, so I always buy off Steam if it's available. If not - Amazon often has good deals on older games. I just bought Battlefield 2 the other day for $10.
-
Walmart.com actually has a pretty decent selection with fairly good prices.
-
i dont wanna open a thread for this so...
can you play online with Pirated Games? over here in Mexico they´re somehow "legal".... police guys sometimes buy :S .... a game cost like $3.50 USD. So it would be cool buying some, so like the question says..." online able?"
-
NO

People not worry to buy them,B'coz government never take any action against it
BTW friends i also think legal way is good .Most of the times i use legal way.DVD images take some time to come out(1 Month usually) and i can't wait that small time without playing loved games,So i buy DVDs from online retailers -
Best Buy for local usually - new games usually on sale within two weeks of release
Otherwise gogamer.com for online. I try not to support Gamestop or EBGames because they have done more to annoy me at local stores than anything else. -
-
GameStop and EBGames irritate me to no end. Walking in to one of those stores is like walking into a Car Dealership. I've never had so many people try to hard sell me on so many crappy titles. Besides, I already know what I like.
It's like trying to "sell" a car to an automotive engineer. He knows a heck of a lot more about a car than the salesman does. He probably knows exactly how much it costs to build one, too. -

I just ordered hitman blood money from gogamer.com for $6.35
i usually look on gogamer.com as their prices are a few bucks cheaper and sometimes much cheaper depending on the sales that week. just have to wait for shipping.
otherwise, i tend to wait till the game i want is on sale somewher elike best buy or circuit city unless i gotta have it then i'll just buy it wherever i want.
crysis is probably going to be a must have the first day it comes out.
Where do you buy your games?
