I used to visit a site all the time that had an amazing collection of game soundtracks, many of them unofficial as game publishers often don't officially release game scores. But now for the life of me I can't find it, nor remember the name (I actually don't even know if it still exists).

But in any event, anyone know the best place to get game soundtracks? I'm specifically looking for the Modern Warfare 2 soundtrack right now (the one by Hans Zimmer). I don't believe it's been officially released, so I was just wondering if there's any way to get it?

    Thanks for the help!

I would assume there's some way to rip them out of the game files on your PC, although I haven't tried. I've gotten a few game soundtracks that way. :p

I found this website a while back, see if it has what you're looking for.

Yeah, I was thinking they could be ripped out of the files too, but I looked through both discs and didn't see anything- although I'm guessing they're in the .cab files? How do you open those up and peek inside? :)

    SUCCESS!

With a little help from Google I've found the complete CoD: Modern Warfare 2 score: http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?t=71315&page=1

246 tracks comprising every piece of music contained in the game. Now begins the process of tagging it all with meaningful track names. :D

.cab files can be opened with WinRAR. Also, thanks for that link :D
