I am looking for an ATI 4570 with GDDR3 memory or DDR3 at the very least. Any idea on where to buy one? RJTech does not have them.

Also, the reason why I want to get one is to do a comparison between my current 4570 which has DDR2 with the G/DDR3 one. Do you think a BIOS update would be required to use it if it's the same model with just different memory?

Send an email to mxm-upgrade.com and also check this thread Where to buy mobile GPU's

I found that mxm-upgrade.com sometimes have ones in stock that are not mentioned on their site.

The ATI 4570 is listed here though. I have no idea about this site or any idea about reliability etc.

    Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I'll have to wait until my notebook arrives to see if it's built-in or not.

I doubt it. Sager/Clevo rarely use proprietory GPU's.
