Up at the top of the gaming thread, there is a direct link to download the lastest ATI Catalyst Control Center and Drivers...which are currently at Catayst 7.2.
However, they are just plain buggy...I upgraded and get continual errors in both XP and Vista about CLI.Implementation and MOM.Implementation. A search on ATI's site reveals they know of the problem and are currently recommending users install 7.1 and use them until the next major update (probably 7.3) can address the issue.
While I was able to find the Catalyst 7.1 drivers for XP in a backup image of my downloads, I never had the Catalyst 7.1 drivers for the 32bit version of Vista.
Does anyone know how to get a hold of Catalyst 7.1 drivers and CCC (not just that blasted checking utiility that sees if your laptop is supported...I want the real download)? Google, site seaches, MajorGeeks.com...I cannot find a download.

go back to ati driver site, scroll down to the bottom of the page, there u will see "previous drivers and software" link
i m running 7.2 (xp and vista) with no issues, matter of fact, i believe that it is a good upgrade from 7.1, which was giving me some issue under vista (not xp)

Same here I'm using 7.2 up from 6.9 and I find them great under Windows XP Home.

me too. im using 7.2. under xp-actually modded desktop drivers. only problem is that CCC is effectively gone, just some cruddy little window where all you can do is change reso and rotation. So i installed 7.2 drivers then an older CCC. i think it works nicely.

night 2004, go to filehippo.com and click on the ati catalyst drivers section and it should list the current and previous versions of the driver. This should do the trick.
