    Hi guys,

I'm looking for game demos to try out and test my XPS 1530 without registering on some of the downloading websites out there. I have slow internet so I can't really download anything more than a GB. Where do I start?

Ok here's are some links I've found to get started :

    Games
    -------
    - http://www.gamershell.com/ (free demo games downloads from different servers)

    Videos
    -------
    - www.vuze.com (lots of HD videos including gaming and movie trailers)
    - http://www.killermovies.com/ (lots of 1080p and 720p trailers)
    - http://www.w6rz.net/ (some HD videos to really tax your computer)
    - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/musicandvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx (Microsoft WMA 1080/720p videos)

    Software
    ---------
    - http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/rthdribl/ (great 3D testing software)

gamershell is a really nice site for demos. i usually get around 700kb/s. before when i used to live in dorms i would literally download at 5mb/s using west coast server.
