    Without a doubt, The first combination.. It's got a newer generation processor, faster fsb (albeit a slower clock speed), and a higher bandwidth for the GPU...

    For sure the first option. The 256bit card KICKS the 128--bit's arse quite hard if I don't say so myself. Plus you get a beastie of a CPU, even if the clock isn't terribly fast. In most all games, the GPU does everything, CPU very little, so also depends on what you want to do.
