    Buying a laptop and i have 2 options only.I have selected the brand and its acer.i have to make a choice between 2models.one has the configuration of AMD Athlon X2 with Geforce 7000M (256MB Dedicated) and the other has dual core with GMA X3100 (358MB shared).my budget is limited.recently i tested few games such as POP: Two Thrones and GODFATHER on the X3100 it ran successfully.but i am not sure about the Geforce 7000M.i want to run this sort of games on my laptop for some occasional gaming.i need some advice about X3100 and Geforce 7000M and its urgent coz i am buying it soon.i want to know which one will be better.thanks in advance :)

    The X3100 is better and should suffice for your basic needs.

    The speed difference between the Geforce 7000M and the Intel X3100 is absolutely minimal. However, the GMAX3100 is a DirectX 10 compatible card, so it supports newer technologies and is therefore better than the 7000M.

    Also, there was a Mobile AMD Althon X2 CPU??? I always thought that AMD only had Mobile AMD Athlon 64 CPUs before they switched to AMD Turion.
