I currently own a laptop with 9400mg card... and Im planning on buying the new hp g62t... it has option for 512mb ati radeon mobility card.... but I read this is a low entry lever card.... so which one of these cards is better and by how much is one better than the other... I uderstand there wont be a huge difference but I would like to know.

    Thanx!

The performance difference is greater than there is between the 9400m G and the 9600m GT, it is a worthy upgrade especially if you are planning on getting a new laptop with it.

The NVIDIA GeForce 9400m G is an entry-level card.

The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 is a mid-level card.
