I'm currently shopping for a 13-14 inch laptop (ie resolution no higher than 1600 x 900). So I'm looking at benchmarks and such for graphics cards but I don't really know what to look for. The games I play are Starcraft 2, CoD MW3, Diablo 3, and occasionally Skyrim. I'm fine playing all of them on medium-low settings, so my question is, which cards can handle those games? The ones in the laptops that I'm looking at are:
    AMD Radeon 6470M, 6490M, 6630M, 7550M, 7570M
    Nvidia Geforce GT 410M, 520M, 540M, 610M, 630M, 630M LE
    NVidia NVS 3100, 4200

Will any of those do what I need them to do?

Anything with a 650 in it tends to be priced beyond my budget :/

So aside from the 630 and 7570, none of the others would be passable?

have u looked into 640? i mean the 7570 is kinda really the minimum if you want to play those games at medium low at that resolution. 7570 only got a 64 bit bus. also 7570 is same chip as 6630. 540 is around same level as 6630.

610m plays diablo 3, one of my friends got one, but not sure what settings it is on.

Push for a 640M LE < 635M < 640M an i5, or an i3 even will do you good for these cards except for the worst of console ports.

Thanks everyone! Just realized the typo in my original post, 630 LE should be 640 LE.

640/650/660 are the same core, just different clock rates and different memory type, so if you get a 640 u migh be able to overclock it to a 650/660 level

Then the best of that bunch is the 640M LE, though bear in mind that in benchmarks it can actually be slower than a 635M/555M (contrary to the naming)
The 630M is a rebranded 540M and slower than the two cards I stated above.

Are you sure you can't get a good Trinity laptop in your price range? a 7750M or 7730M could be had if you settle for a Piledriver cpu..

I haven't found anything with a 7750M or 7730M in it that meets my screen size requirements. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places... is there somewhere you could recommend to look at all notebooks that meet certain specs?

Close the voting polls and go home. The 640M LE is hands down the card to select, as long as you confirm that it's the 384 shader Kepler version.

In what laptop is it installed?
