    Hey bud.

    For XP:
I use 163.16, and I'd recommend it. If you plan to software overclock, you should stick with a 158 series driver, I used 158.22 before I flashed my BIOS.

For Vista 32-bit: I use 163.44, and have nice and stable performance. I can't say I've tried much else and am satisfied with 163.44.

All these aforementioned drivers can be found at laptopvideo2go, in case you weren't aware.

I'm using 163.44 for Vista, too. But I have a problem, on Counter Strike, the fps is just 60 fps!

And other games, when I try to play at high details, it some times make lag! What is the problem ??

I have 8600M Gt with DDR3. How can I increase this low fps?

Go to the link in my profile. I wrote it for getting rid of the stuttering issue that the 8600GT shows in some games but the guide can be used as a general optimization for your 8600M GT and may help increase your FPS.

    For what OS?

I spent like 2 hours today trying to find the best driver. I stopped at 162.18 - that's for Vista 32.

always try to get the latest drivers, unless a lot of users experience problems with them. i'm using 163.71 whql with the modded .inf from laptopvideo2go.com for the beta .71's.
