My friend gave me his Xbox 360 controller and at first I was all excited (ZOMG FREE STUFFS!) but then I realized I have zero games that can benefit from playing with a controller....

Tried Fallout 3, it was an okay experience
    Bioshock 2 didn't work
Gonna try Oblivion later this week

Which games do you guys use your controller with, if any?

Baka prefers using it on button-mashy games like prototype, Assassin's creed, GTA series, Just Cause 2 ._.

Works better on all driving games, and dual stick shooters like Renegade Ops. Also I have several platformer games which keyboard absolutely fails...like anything could help me on Super Meat Boy.

Bought a Razer Onza (Xbox360 controller) solely to play Skyrim (I broke my finger playing flag football the night before SKyrim came out and couldn't use my mouse due to the splint so cllllearly I had to do something)

But now, even with my finger healed, I love using it for Skyrim, GTA4, Assasin's Creed, Batman Arkham Asylum .... hmm pretty much anything that is a port from console :p

    I use a ps3 gamepad using bluetooth.
Imo football games like EA FIFA almost requires somekind of a gamepad to be played.

Renegade Ops, Sonic Generations, Worms, Ares Extinction Agenda, Sky Drift, Beat Hazzard not much else that I can think of.

Some games that work pretty well w/ controller like say Trine, GTA4, Batman Arkham, I still prefer keyboard & mouse due to precision aiming when needed. I cant sacrifice that important aspect just for good control of other functions.

For racing games I use a racing wheel else I would definitely use a controller for analog control.

Most platformer games I use a controller.

I have joysticks for fighters and shmups, a wheel for racing, and joystick for flying so I have pretty dedicated controls for those types of games.

I use Navigation Controller + Mouse on every game. I find it better than the keyboard, which is only good for typing. :)

Any game where mouse precision isn't important. Usually 2D scrollers and 3D platformers.

Arcade racers primarily. I don't care if an FPS is really made for a game pad, it just never works for me (i.e. Dead Space, Batman Arkham Asylum).

great point, anything ported from console will play better with a controller.

I use it for GTAIV, Skyrim, Dead Island and Hack&Slashers...

GTAIV, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space, Red Faction: Guerrilla. I resisted getting a gamepad for quite a while, but I'm glad I did. Some of the *cough* console ported games are pretty fun.

I use it to fly the helo in bf3, using two analogue sticks and two triggers is much better than any mouse and keyboard setup, for flying, but then i switch back to mouse and keyboard for infantry work.
