An upgrade to a single GTX 580m is $500.00. Dual GTX 560m is $200.00 Which way is best to do? A Ati 6990 is also $200.00i

The AMD 6990M is equal in performance to the GTX 580M, so that's the smartest buy.

You really should hold off though; all of the new 600M and 7000M GPUs are being revealed this week at the CeBIT tech conference, which starts on the 6th.

Alienware, Clevo, MSI, Samsumg, and Asus will have their gaming machines on display.

hypothetically, the SLI will do better, but the 6990m will overall out perform.

560m sli will yield the best performance, but I'd probably go with the 6990m.

The new GPU's are being released very soon, stick around and see what they have to offer before making a decision, however
